This is a custom cable wall display that we made for Capella Flavors, a local company that sells flavor drops for food and drinks.
If you take a closer look at the pictures, you can see that this wall display is so dynamic and visually appealing, it’s as almost as if it is a custom art piece. It’s a wall and cable system that features labels of the various products that they sell. By combining them into one wall display system, it becomes a visually impactful way to proudly display the product line that Capella Flavors offers.
This cable wall display was mounted in the lobby area at Capella Flavors. It was constructed from an aluminum matte finish frame system, and features 16 different cables that form eight columns. Each column has five 8 inch square tiles for a total of 40 tiles. For each of the labels, the artwork is die-cut and applied on the front surface of frosted acrylic tiles. For the solid color tiles, clear acylic is used and back mounted with white vinyl, and the clear 1/8-inch thick acrylic tiles were applied to the front.
160 clips, with four going to each tile, is how the tiles are fixated to the cable system, forming the grid. Wall systems like these are a great way to pull graphics and artwork off-the-wall, adding another dimension to the display system.
This particular wall display system features a combination of frosted tiles with the label art, intermixed with clear colorful tiles to best showcase the vibrant solid colors of their product line. As you can see in the pictures, the colors range from red, orange, yellow, green and blue, to tan, brown and purple. When viewed together collectively in a wall display system. like this one, it really makes for a stunning result.
For a project like this, we typically do everything from start to finish. This project included design time, vector artwork creation, adjustments and edits, individual contour cuts for custom logos, fabrication, installation and finishing work.
