Client: The Fit Mill
When planning a grand opening, it is integral to command the attention of the public with high impact exterior signage. The Fit Mill came to us looking to do just that. North Coast Signs knew we could assess their advertising needs, and construct a cohesive sign package that meets those needs head on!
The Fit Mill is a company run by three mothers. They understand the need for an efficient workout plan that produces maximum personalized results. The previous electrical sign (evolve) was removed from side of the building overlooking the glass doors. We replaced the outdated sign with a non-illuminated dimensional letter sign. The updated sign measured in at 21 inches x 102 inches, fabricated from 1 inch thick exterior grade foam that had .032 aluminum facing. Semi-gloss gray paint was used to give the sign some color, and it was mounted using VHB and silicone. The second sign we designed for The Fit Mill, was a store front sign measuring in at 11 inches by 52 inches. Then there is the hanging blade sign featuring vinyl graphics, and the double-sided logo displayed for the public. We even designed cohesive window graphics to go with the brand and style they were broadcasting.
In the image above, there is the finished over the door signage. Notice the 3-D look that draws the eye. This sign will be a great first impression on the public from The Fit Mill! Below and to the right, you will see a photo of the sign close up. To the left and below, we have an image of the completed hanging sign. This sign possesses our client’s business brand, style, and compliments their location perfectly.
Besides the removal process of the original sign, we also went through many other challenges to get this sign project ready before The Fit Mill’s grand opening. North Coast Signs procured approvals from the Landlord, and The City of Carlsbad Planning & Building Departments. We worked with our client to update the sign criteria in order to receive the appropriate permits in a timely fashion. It all came together, and the finished sign package for The Fit Mill was a success!
