When we received a call from Dr. Kaska, he mentioned that he wanted the design to incorporate an x-ray of an orthopedic knee within the logo. He wanted something that was very high-end and professional looking, but at the same time still fit within his budget. This isn’t always easy to do – achieve a high end look at a fraction of the cost – but we’ve been in business for a long time making signs for all kinds of different companies, and we knew how to create what he was looking for, and within his price range. We used acrylic letters with a metallic brushed aluminum finish to create the high-end look, and without having to spend on more expensive materials.
To give you an idea of the size and scale of this sign, the entire wall sign measures 7 feet wide by 25.5 inches tall. The black K logo, which is made with black acrylic and vinyl print applied to the face, is 20 inches tall and 14.5 inches wide. The large ‘KASKA’ to the left of the K is 5.5 inches tall, and the ‘orthopedics’ lettering is 7.5 inches tall. Underneath the logo and company name is Dr. Kaska’s full name, which measures 30 inches wide and 2.82 inches tall.
