Project: Lobby Sign Customer: Entry Ventures Location: San Diego, CA Not every lobby sign is the same. And this one is no different.  The entry of your business is the first place people see, and making a good first impression is what lasts. Entry Ventures, located in San Diego, called us because they wanted a lobby sign for their business that would really make a statement.  They wanted a sign that would really pop, and that people will notice right away when they step into their office.  So we asked Entry Ventures to email over the art work for their logo, along with a photograph of the wall in their lobby, to give us an idea of where the lobby sign was going to be installed. To make their sign, we had Entry Ventures give us the dimensions of the wall, seen in the images above and below.   With the dimensions of their wall, and their logo artwork, we were able to create a mock-up by digitally scaling their logo to fit it in the dimensions provided to us, without having to go on location and take measurements.  This enabled us to get an idea of what their sign was going to look like on their wall, before it was even been built.  Once we had their digital mock-up finished, we were able to choose the right letter sizes and size for their logo.  We used ¼" thick painted acrylic letters, which were then flush mounted to the wall. One thing that's important when creating signs is keeping all the branding and signage consistent.  And one part of that is making sure that your colors match on all your marketing materials, from your lobby sign to your business cards.  To make sure our colors are always exact, we use a system called PMS (Pantone Matching System).
