Project: Exterior Monument Sign Resurfacing
Resurfacing a sign, like the one seen in the image above, is a fairly common request that we get from owners and property managers of office buildings, residential complexes, business parks, and other businesses where office spaces change and new tenants move in and out.
Most monument signs like these are modular, built with sections so it can have replaceable panels. If you own or manage a building with a monument sign like this one, you might not need to replace the entire sign. You may just be able to resurface it. To build a monument sign from scratch it can take a lot of work, and a lot of money, whereas a resurfacing is almost always much less costly.
However, if you have a monument sign that is old and outdated, it may make more sense to replace it, or at least update it. If you’re not sure if you need a new monument sign, or if your current sign can be recycled, give us a call and we’ll help you explore your options.
How it’s made: For this project our customer needed to have the prior tenant’s signs removed, and update it with their name and logo. The new sign panels are made from aluminum frames, painted to match the existing structure. The company logo is custom cut from black acrylic, and the company’s blue icon is custom painted in the matching Pantone color for their brand.
