Everyday Energy is a solar company in Carlsbad, California and recently they contacted us. They were looking for a good sign company to make a few signs; a lobby sign and store front window graphics.
Everyday Energy specializes in the finance, installation and design of solar systems. They are a great company that helps residential communities and commercial buildings cut their power bill with solar energy. For Everyday Energy we created custom printed vinyl cut logos on the side windows and the front door of new their office. We also created a lobby sign for them which was constructed out of clear back-painted acrylic with a matching gradient. The gradient blends from lighter to darker orange which you can see in the image above. They told us the lobby sign was going to go on a dark blue wall, and one of the colors in their logo is blue, so we wanted to make sure it stood out and had some ‘pop.’ So we first applied vinyl to the surface to create an outline of the lettering in their logo. We then applied their logo with the gradient orange on top to create a stoke (or outline) around the lettering. This gave us the contrast against the blue wall that we were looking for.
