Building professional relationships is the hallmark of a good sign shop. Case in point is our collaboration with PMI Install. Recently, we worked on window graphics for MAC Cosmetics at the Cerritos Mall. This company does a fantastic job at reeling in the foot traffic with static cling glass displays. We were excited to receive another call to do more window graphics for retailers in Cerritos CA.
Catching the Eye with a Step and Repeat Window Cling Pattern
This time around, the client asked for static cling displays that depict miniature compact cases and associated makeup products. They feature gradually changing colors to highlight the broad range of options that customers have. The pattern catches the eye for this very reason. Because of the smaller sizing of the graphics, customers automatically walk up to the glass. Bringing in foot traffic has never been easier.
Placing Your Windows in Charge of Advertising
You already have the glass panes that make up the front or sides of the store. Why not put them to work?
- Full window wraps. In some situations, you do not want customers to look inside. Maybe there are shelves right in front of the windows. Or maybe you switched the layout of the store, so now the windows offer vistas of the employee lounge or restroom entrances. Cover up these unsightly scenes with window wraps. When you still want to look outside, perforated vinyl works well. Those on the outside see a full-size ad display.
- Semi-transparent graphics. Customers have to strain their eyes to see through the colorful displays. These are not wraps in the true sense. Many clients commission these types of graphics in tall and wide measurements to make it possible for the customer to catch glimpses of products without giving away everything.
- Lettering. Spell out your deals and steals. Add seasonal messages to window graphics or wraps. When you use your windows to display merchandise, use the lettering to catch the attention of passersby. One or two short phrases might stop them in their tracks.
The goal of all these types of window graphics is to catch the attention of consumers and entice them to enter the venue. Setting the stage for an impulse stop is the first step toward encouraging the impulse buy. It is possible to complement the messages your windows send with secondary signage products such as A-frames, banners, flutter flags, and even banner stands that you could put right outside your entrance. In some situations, café barriers are excellent options.
