For our latest project, we returned to Carson to install new aluminum dimensional lettering for monument signs.
Three-Dimensional Aluminum Lettering for Monument Signs Replaces Outdated Information
Initially, the existing lettering spelled “Joint Water Pollution Control Plant | County Sanitation Districts | Of Los Angeles County.” It was a mouthful, and with the lettering having faded, it was challenging to read.
The client decided to make a change and have us upgrade the Carson, CA, dimensional lettering to read “A.K. Warren Resource Facility | Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts.” The new title allows for larger letters.
Technicians used half-inch-thick, flat-cut aluminum letters that we painted black. Next, we stud-mounted them to the monument face’s rough surface. We installed the new letters the day after the renaming ceremony, which made the client very happy. Now, the darker lettering color offers better contrast and improved readability on the gray stone face.

- Full-color makeover. Our custom monument sign refurbishing does not have to stop with letters and lighting. In many cases, technicians completely redo the color palette of the signage to reflect your branding.
