Top 5 questions to ask when buying a banner stand

BY: ,

roll-up banner standSo you have decided you need a banner stand to spice up your your trade show booth or presentation.  How do you decide how much to spend.  High quality units can be twice as much as less expensive units.  What makes the difference?

Here’s a list of 5 things you should consider when choosing a roll-up banner stand.

How often will your banner stand be used?

The quality of the roll-up mechanism is the single largest difference between inexpensive units and higher quality displays. If you only attend a few trad shows a year you can probably get away with a less expensive display.  If on the other had your roll-up banner stand is taken up and down on a regular basis, take the time and invest in a higher quality unit.

Do you need to change your graphics periodically? Higher quality displays are designed to allow for an easy exchange of graphics.  Entry level displays are largely disposable in this context.

Standard height for displays is 78-82″.  Do you ever need a a lower height? If you find yourself needing a variety of heights for your banner stand, make sure you get a unit that is telescopic.

Appearance. This is one of the more superficial elements but nonetheless important.  If you are trying to convey a sophisticated appearance you the construction of the banner stand can be very important.  Entry level units are usually black, powder coated aluminum.  More expensive units are brushed aluminum and convey a more sophisticated image.

Banner quality. Standard banner materials do a great job in a roll up display but they do have their limitations.  Other options include non-curl materials and flat printing surfaces which offer superior superior image reproduction.

We realize it’s important to spend your marketing dollars wisely but its equally important not make a quick decision and being unhappy with the result.   Ask the right questions and you won’t be disappointed.
