QR codes are everywhere these days. As people gradually switch to smart phones, it seems a pretty sure bet the QR codes will become part of every day life.
So what do they do. In the same way bar codes tell us things like price and which model is listed, QR codes allow us to imbed information that can lead potential clients directly back to our business.
Let’s look at a sign related example. You own a small chain of fitness centres and have your vehicle wrapped to promote your business. With a simple app on your iphone, blackberry or android phone a QR code can take prospects directly to your website. All they have to do is take a picture and away they go.
I think, increasingly signage will incorporate QR codes to allow prospects to check out your business while the interest is high. Whether it’s car wraps, floor graphics or point of sale merchandise QR codes make it easier for your customers to find you.
