Here are a few tips to keep you on the straight and narrow:
Use colour effectively
Using vibrant colours is a great way to attract attention but make sure you don’t overuse colour. If you own a pizza business,  using bright colours for your vehicle graphics probably makes sense. However if you own a professional business you may want something a little more subdued.
Your design should fit you brand
Good wrap designers are artists. Their canvas is your car or truck and and the result can be spectacular.  Unfortunately, you may not want a Picasso or a Van Gogh to represent your business.  It is up to you to give clear direction to your graphic designer about what you want.
Don’t let your message get lost in the art
Graphic artists are just that, artists not marketers. I’ve seen far too many wraps where the design is eye-catching but you just can’t figure out what it is promoting. It may be beautiful but you have to remind your designer that the objective of the exercise it to get you more business not advertise his or her artistic skills.
Keep your message simple
We live in a more is better culture. Bigger houses are better, faster cars are better so why shouldn’t more text on your vehicle be a better way to promote your business? Put simply, too many messages drown each other out.  Select key messages that you would like your prospects to get.
Vehicle wraps are without a doubt the most powerful form of vehicle signage. When properly executed they are both inexpensive and extremely effective. If you are considering getting vehicle graphics for your car or truck don’t discount a full or partial wrap until you have checked them out.
