Unlock your business’s potential with expert coaching

Many small businesses experience a similar life-cycle following their inception. After a fast start due to the novelty of the business, revenues taper off and they reach a stagnant stage where it seems like the owner is mired down in the day-to-day operations of the company. In times such as these, it’s easy for a business owner to get discouraged, but the truth is most of them simply aren’t trained in how to take the next step forward. By enlisting the help of a business expert, they can continue to move forward toward their goals. I am a business coach based in the Pittsburgh area and I have worked with clients representing businesses of all types, sizes and industries. My job is to help the owner achieve their goals, and one of my favorite types of client is a small business owner looking to grow. Most small business owners are great at what they do. Whether it’s producing a top-notch product or providing a useful service, the business owner is typically elite when it comes to the technical proficiencies of the job. In fact, their ability to perform in their field is likely what led them to go out on their own in the first place. The reason many small businesses don’t succeed is not because they don’t offer a good product or service, but instead because the business owner does not understand the nuances which accompany operating a new company. Strategic planning, being a great leader, hiring and training the right people, identifying opportunities, budgeting and more are all areas where a new business must excel in order to grow, and these skills take time and practice to perfect. Luckily for small business owners, there is a way to grow faster and accomplish your goals. By bringing in someone with experience helping companies grow who can mentor you in the areas of business operations, you have a partner in your corner who can help you by pairing their business expertise with your knowledge of your industry. The purpose of a business coach is to understand the goals you have for your business and then use their expertise to help you meet those goals. Some of my clients in the past have had aspirations to build a business with a great foundation which could be passed down for generations, others wanted to scale up quickly with the aim of cashing out as soon as possible. While both of these goals are reasonable for a new business, there are different steps to take for each end goal, so a business coach can help you be sure you’re headed in the right direction. Many small business owners struggle with scaling because they take on too many responsibilities. A business coach can also help an owner become a master leader, trainer and delegator so they can build a team of trusted people, allowing them to open new locations, take on new clients or do any other activity to take advantage of new opportunities. Are you ready to take your business to the next level? Get started today by filling out the questionnaire on my website and get ready to watch your business grow!
