Local expert can help you achieve business goals

Business coaches are typically brought in to analyze the overall structure, performance and culture of a company and use their expertise to help improve these areas and help the owner meet their goals. One way this is accomplished is through operations training. When working with a business coach, the day-to-day workings of the company are not focused on as much as the overall operation of the company and the bigger picture. By offering operations training, a business coach can help create systems, policies and procedures on a large scale to help the day-to-day workflow run smoothly. I am a business coach based in the Pittsburgh, PA area, and I have had the opportunity to work with several local businesses to help them reach their goals. From Cranberry Township to Bethel Park and everywhere in the Pittsburgh metro area, I have helped clients representing businesses of all sizes and industries. When it comes to operations training, the main focus is on how to make the company run smoother in every aspect. As a business owner, you are likely an expert in your field and have a vast amount of knowledge on creating a fantastic product or service, but might be lacking in the nuances of running the business. This is where a business coach can help. In today’s workplace environment, employees have choices in their place of employment and it’s important to keep them happy. Many people are motivated by more than money, and if you can put a system in place where it’s easy for people to do their jobs then you’re more likely to be able to retain and attract top talent. Operations training looks at your current process and determines if there are inefficiencies which can be optimized. This can look very different depending on your industry, but can be applied to any business. If you own a business which manufactures a product, operational training on a broad scale would look at where you source your materials from, how it’s delivered to your facility, what steps your team takes to unpack, work with, and use the material to come to the final product, and how you get the product to your customers. A business coach will examine each step and see if you’re doing it as simply and cost-effectively as possible, and improve the system in every area possible. The end result is a maximization of profits and a smoother workflow for your people. This leads to happier employees and a better bottom line. The example above is a general overview, but the theory stays the same regardless of the industry. A business coach might suggest a new online ordering system, a new sales tactic, a different supply chain process or any number of improvements based on your product or service. The great thing about using a local business coach is their connection to other business leaders in the area, and if there is an improvement to be made the coach likely can facilitate a connection to make it happen. If you feel your business could be more efficient, I’m here to help. Fill out the questionnaire on my website and let’s get started today!
