The Issue
The successful operation of any business is no small feat. During this process with this family-owned company, we focused on areas where problems were causing issues for them so they could create new systems to address these concerns. It was also important we get buy-in from all members of the family, as each person led a division of the company and needed to feel as though they were part of the decision to change and adapt.
In addition, I helped our client create a new, more competitive pricing model to reflect the value of their product. This exercise was pivotal in recognizing my client’s business worth. Moreover, we placed emphasis on hiring sales teams so they can better compete with other companies in this industry. This included creating hiring plans to bring in more qualified and engaged sales professionals.
The Result
My client’s revenue increased almost immediately after we implemented our system. This is because the software helped them identify and seize new opportunities in their industry, which also increased the value of existing contracts with clients who were very satisfied with how quickly things happened for them during this period. This is well due largely thanks (in part) to implementing a better sales strategy to sustain itself in the long term.
The experience of working with a family-owned business was eye-opening for me, and I loved the opportunity to help them reach new heights.
