- Service visits – based on the number of times you use your spa every week, we can develop a service schedule to come and test the water, balance the chemicals, wipe the spa down and vacuum out any debris settled on the bottom of the tub. For instance, if you use your tub once or twice a week, an every other week schedule would be sufficient. However, if you use it three or four times a week, then weekly spa service would be required.
- Spa Drains – we can drain your tub, clean it out, fill it with fresh water, and rebalance. At the same time, we will clean your filter cartridge and wipe down the cover. Whenever you use your spa, body solids (skin, perfume, lotion, makeup, deodrant, etc.) are left behind in the water. After a period of time (generally 3 to 4 months), chemicals no longer will work and your spa water will not remain balanced. This is extremely unsanitary, and you can be exposed to dangerous bacteria. Therefore, draining your tub on a regular basis is quite important, as is cleaning your filter. In fact, a dirty filter can impair your spa heater’s ability to function correctly.
- Onsite Consultation – many homeowners, especially ones who have never had a spa before, hire us to meet with them onsite and give them instructions on everything from testing and balancing the water, telling them which chemicals they need to use, operating their equipment, draining their tub, and generally learning how to take care of the spa in a manner that will make it safe for them to use and prevent their equipment from being damaged by improper chemical balance (the number one cause of repair jobs at The Pool Doctor). This service only costs $129 for a one hour consultation, and will save you hundreds of dollars in the long run.
- Chemical Delivery – we will deliver chemicals to your door step if you are in our current service route area as long as you order $25 or more.
