Use a Tab Floater and Keep Your Pool Chemistry Stable

BY: Your Name, Your Business

Are you constantly struggling with the amount of chlorine in your pool?  Having trouble keeping it consistent?  Then use a tab floater and keep your pool chemistry stable.

What is a floater?  It is a plastic vessel with an opening on top that you can put 3″ chlorine tabs into.  The bottom of the floater has openings that you can set so the proper amount of chlorine is dispensed constantly into your pool.  These openings should be set so that based on your usage, the pool is always getting chlorinated.

Another benefit of the chlorine tabs is the fact that they have cyanuric acid, or stabilizer, in them.  Stabilizer basically does what it sounds like.  It keeps the chlorine in the water longer.  You see, chlorine is very sensitive to sunlight and heat.  So in the summer when it is hot out and the pool is heated, the chlorine will dissipate very quickly.  By having stabilizer in the water, you will slow down the rate at which the chlorine evaporates.

Tabs can save you money over time because you will not need to use as many of them as you would gallons of liquid chlorine, which evaporates quite quickly.  Even if you buy stabilizer separately and put it in your pool, this is a much more expensive way to go for average homeowners.

Also, another advantage to the floater is your pool is being sanitized if you go out of town – just load up the floater with tabs and your pool should be fine for a couple of weeks at least.

If the floater annoys you while you’re swimming, go ahead and remove it.  But be sure to put it back in the water when you’re done swimming.  90% of the people we see struggling with their chlorine balance are not using floaters.  Once they start, they never go back.

So use a tab floater and keep your pool chemistry stable, and your sanity!
