The building sign did not need to be illuminated so we suggested a digitally printed, aluminum sign. We offered the option of some raised letters on the face in combination with the digitally printed and laminated face to add some visual interest to the sign. She was very pleased and willing to spend a bit more to make the sign look more interesting and visually appealing.
We often suggest adding flat cut acrylic logos and letters to sign faces in addition to a digitally printed background for a couple of reasons. First, it obviously makes the sign more interesting, but it is more than that. An attractive sign face near the business entry, shows the customers you are invested in your business. You are willing to spend the money to create a beautiful, welcoming space. Combining the flat cut acrylic with the printed element can also save money, because you are only adding a few pieces on the sign.
