The Sign Authority, Inc. recently fabricated and installed this custom corporate logo lobby sign for Prinova. Prinova has several buildings in Carol Stream, but they recently expanded with a new building in Hanover Park. Prinova is a leader in the global market, providing ingredient and flavors for the nutrition and food industries. Prinova is also a leader in research and development and they have their own laboratory on site.
Because of the rapid rate of growth Prinova is experiencing, they needed to expand to another larger facility. Moving into a new facility can be a daunting task. Choosing the décor, office furniture and lighting, in and of itself is a big project. Choosing the signage, inside and outside of your building can also be intimidating. That is why Prinova call The Sign Authority, to provide a consultation prior to everyone moving into the facility. Because there was so much to consider, we started with the lobby area first. They did a beautiful job covering the walls with a rustic wood veneer, and so the perfect corporate lobby sign was needed to compliment the wall. They wanted the sign to enhance the entryway and not overpower the viewer when entering the building.
We chose a ½” thick clear acrylic backer with polished edges. We then applied ½” brushed aluminum laminated gray acrylic for logo on the face. Brushed aluminum stand-offs were the finishing touch to complete the sign. As you can see in the photo, the clear acrylic allows the viewer to see the rough wood paneling behind the sign. The results were stunning!
