The Sign Authority, Inc., located in Wheaton, IL recently fabricated and installed this large LED channel letter sign for Grace Pointe Church in Plainfield, IL. Grace Pointe Church has two locations, one in Plainfield and one in Naperville, IL. Grace Pointe Church owns a large strip mall complex that the church uses for their church location. The problem with this location is that it is very difficult to see from the road. The building is located a bit of a distance from the road with several obstructions, including trees and other buildings. Grace Pointe Church wanted to have more visibility to passersby. The solution was to create a very large LED channel letter sign that is illuminated at night. Because they own the entire building they had plenty of space for The Sign Authority to install this large sign.
The original church was founded by the name of Naperville Bible Church and originally met in a garage. Over time, the church grew in numbers and they purchased their property in Naperville. Over time the church expanded the facility and began to plant churches around the Chicagoland area. They changed the name from Naperville Bible Church to Grace Point Church and established new congregations and new buildings. Obviously signage was a concern and one of the last steps in getting the word out to potential followers.
