The Sign Authority recently completed a new hanging post and panel sign for Phabulux, a nail salon in Wheaton, IL. Their old sign was in bad shape and needed a makeover, so they came to us with their ideas and we worked with them to create a sign that fit their business and style perfectly.
Because their existing sign wasn’t fairing too well against severe weather conditions and sun damage, we needed to find them a durable substrate material that would help them avoid the same problems in the future. Once the design was finalized between our art team and Phabulux, we produced a new and improved version for them.
The replacement sign included high resolution digital prints, mounted to each side of a custom cut aluminum panel. This specific aluminum panel material is called MaxMetal, and it is extremely durable and perfect for mounted graphics, especially for exterior use as building and post and panel signs. This outdoor sign was then laminated with a special clear film, made specifically to discourage weathering, sun damage, and graffiti, called OraGuard. After production was finished, our professional installation staff removed the existing sign and hung the new one in its place.
Our materials and laminates ensure that outdoor signs are not damaged from everyday exposure to sun, rain, and other normal Midwest weather fluctuations. If you’re looking for outdoor signage that will stand up to the elements or are located in an area where you fear graffiti or other types of vandalism may be a problem, we’ve got options and solutions to put your mind at ease.
