This is a job coming off of a HP 360 printer
Recently we were contacted by a roofing contractor located in the south side of Charlotte, on Pineville Mathews Rd. They called us because they were changing the name of their company and needed new yard signs to place in the yards of people that they were replacing the roofs or doing other repairs to the houses. They called us on a Wednesday morning and needed some signs to place in the yards by Friday. While our standard turn around time for these types of signs is 3-4 days, we took on the challenge.
In the image to the left, you can see where the vinyl is coming off of the printed after it has been printed and dried at over 200 degrees Fahrenheit and then cooled before it comes out the front. Once it leaves the heating area, it is cool to the touch and the ink is dry. Since there are 50 signs that need to be made, we print 8-10 signs at a time and roll them up at the bottom. From here the vinyl is laid onto large 4′ x 8′ sheets of corrugated plastic. After laying down the vinyl and smoothing out all of the air bubbles, we cut them to the finished size.
