We were contacted by Edwin, the owner of Pop A Lock in Charlotte, NC and he had just purchased a new truck for one of his employees and he needed to get his logo and a few other decals added to it. Since this employees old vehicle had died, he needed this one done as quickly as possible.
In the image to the left you can see the finished truck with all of the logo’s that Pop A Lock wanted installed. They were on the hood, both sides and there were also some on the rear of the vehicle as well. Before we installed these decals, the truck was just a plain white truck, but as you can see in the picture to the left, it let’s everyone know what company he is with. This is especially important now a days, you don’t want a service person in a plain vehicle coming up to your house or driving around your neighborhood looking for where they need to be. This is also important that as he is driving from one job site to another, that he is advertising his company at no extra cost. This is what makes vehicle graphics a very cost effective option for many small business owners. This particular project was about $650 and that is a one time cost, so as this employee is driving around town, Pop A Lock is being seen by everyone he sees.
Pop A Lock is a nation wide company that helps people when they need a lock changed, lost they key and maybe just need another remote for their car. Pop A Lock is a 24/7 locksmith that also offers security systems as well. While they have an office in Concord, NC, their technicians are traveling around the whole Charlotte area as well as some of South Carolina.
To create this design for Pop A Lock, we first got the necessary logos that the customer wanted on the vehicle. We then took some pictures of the truck and proceed to place the different logos and graphics digitally onto the picture that we took. Once we thought we had everything where it belonged, we then sent a copy to the customer for review. After a few minor changes, we adjusted the proof and sent it again. This time we hit the nail on the head and we were ready to go. We printed the graphics using a premium 3M vinyl and laminate and cut them to the necessary shapes. Once this was done cutting, we removed the scrap pieces and were left with just what need to go onto the truck. We prepped the truck and began installing the graphics, everything was going as planned. We finished the install, called the customer and they were on there way.
