Recently, we were contacted by Wholesale Supplies Plus, they were moving into their new manufacturing facility with office space located on East Pleasant Valley Road in Independence. They called us because the elivery docks were not identified since they were just moving in and the drivers were having trouble determining which docks to use for deliveries which was a daily issue. Its not easy for a semi truck with a large trailer to turn around in lot for a medium size company.
In the image above, you can see the signs installed at the top of the dock for easy identification. The other pictures shows there were several docks needing identification. In both pictures you can now see how easy it is to identify the docks with the placement of the signs at the top of each doorway.
Wholesale Supplies Plus has a large retailer presence on-line offering soap making supplies and handmade cosmetics. They have 2000 plus products that can be used by individuals or commercial companies. They have skin care products, natural essential oils, fragrance oils, packaging materials, plastic bottles and jars. These are only a few of the items, but their web site has a lot of products available to shop.
When Wholesale Supplies Plus called us, we sprung into actoin by going out to their facility to survey for size, placement and clarify how it was to be done. The signs were made of poly metal with a vinyl print applied over the face. The poly metal and the vinyl will provide years of service for exterior use. Poly metal has an aluminum skin on the front and back sides with a PVC core in the middle. The thickness we used was 1/8" thick. They also come in 1/4" thickness as well. We used a red vinyl that was cut out on our plotter and applied to each face. The signs were installed over a corrogated metal exterior wall that actually had 2 different sizes, since part of the building was built at seperate times. We used exterior grade VHB double sided tape applied to the flat areas of the wall.
