Here are some ideas for creating a memorable gender reveal photoshoot you and your loved ones won't forget.
- Bake A Cake
Cake reveals have been trending in 2021 and are becoming even more popular in 2022. These cakes have white frosting on the outside and either pink or blue on the inside. When it comes time to cut the cake (usually at the end of the photoshoot), everyone finds out if the insides are pink or blue! It's such a fun moment to capture, and you will get some really amazing photos.
- Balloons
Balloons are a classic and simple way to announce the gender of your baby. Have someone fill boxes with either blue or pink balloons. When it's time to reveal the gender, open the box in a field, and whichever color balloons come out first will be your baby's gender! You could also fill the balloons with blue or pink confetti. When it's time to find out if you're having a boy or girl, pop the balloons and watch the confetti inside to find out!
- Paint Fight!
If you really want to have a fun and unique activity to announce your baby's gender, why not a paint fight? Gather your friends and family in an outdoor space and have them armed with a solid-colored squeeze bottle filled with pink or blue paint. On the count of three, they all squeeze their bottles on one another, creating a fun and colorful paint fight! This will be especially exciting if you have children who are old enough to join in.
- Smoke Bombs
Smoke bombs have become increasingly popular in gender reveal photoshoots over the past few years. Smoke bombs can be purchased in various colors, including blue and pink. You could set up a scene with your family and tell everyone it's time to find out if you're having a boy or girl by setting off the smoke bombs. This will create a gorgeous action shot and the perfect photo opportunity to capture the moment!
- Silly String
Silly string isn't just for kids anymore! If you want a fun and unique way to announce your baby's gender, silly string is a great option. Head outdoors and have everyone armed with masked pink or blue-filled cans. On the count of three, everyone let loose with the silly string and create an unforgettable experience everyone will enjoy.
