Ask how long they have been photographing newborns and if they specialize in lifestyle newborn photography specifically. Inquire About their Portfolio and Style of Shooting Be sure to ask the photographer to share their portfolio with you. Be sure to inquire about their turnaround time to see when you should expect your images. I aim to get your gallery back to you within two weeks. Ask them what items they have on hand or if they even use props (I don’t), as this will help you decide which type of photos you would like to capture. I don’t use fancy props or poses. Some photographers offer flexible payment plans or discounts for multiple bookings, so it's important to ask. Ask About Their Safety Practices in Handling Newborns Safety is paramount when it comes to handling newborns. Ask your photographer about the safety measures they take and what type of training they have to handle a baby properly. This will ensure your little one is in good hands during their session.
