An Intimate Wedding
Several months ago I was contacted by Lindsay H. She and her fiancé were planning an intimate wedding with just the two of them. Though they aren't from the Bay Area, they had chosen this to be their destination. She envisioned a wedding in the Redwoods and I couldn't wait to be part of their special day.
Planning the big day
There was a fair amount of planning involved to make sure that the day was perfect. Initially, they wanted to be married on Halloween, as it's their favorite holiday. Both Lindsay and her fiance are in the military, and unfortunately, duty called and the wedding had to be postponed a few weeks. We had multiple telephone and email conversations ironing out details and trying to find the perfect location and time for their ceremony. We met the day prior to the wedding and found an amazing spot. It was deep in the Redwoods with sunlight streaming through the trees. Perfect!
The big day is finally here
When I met with Lindsay the day before the wedding, I asked about her plans for getting ready. Since they weren't from the area, they were staying at a local hotel and her plan was to get ready at the hotel and then meet me at the location. I know how special my
daughter's wedding day was and I wanted to add something extra special for Lindsay as well. I picked her up early the morning of thewedding and brought her to my home to get ready. I wanted her to have that moment when her groom sees her for the first time. She looked amazing and it was such a special moment when they turned and saw each other!

After the ceremony, there was champagne and more photos. It was a beautiful wedding and it was just what they envisioned for their special day. I was honored to be able to witness it and capture such sweet moments that they will treasure forever. Lindsay had this to
