Posed vs Lifestyle Newborn Photography
I love posed newborn images, but my heart is in Lifestyle Newborn Sessions. I love going in to new parents' homes and capturing candid moments with their newest family member.
Doing in home sessions takes some of the pressure off new parents. They don't have to pack the baby up and travel to a studio.
I recently got to spend time with Karen, John and their new baby boy. He stole my heart! What a cutie with that head full of hair!
Sessions You Don't Have To Leave Home For
The session to
ok place at their home in El Sobrante. I like to do in home newborn sessions mid morning. The babies are usually less cranky in the morning and the light in the home is usually better in the morning.
The light in their home was a photographer's dream. Usually I'm lucky to find one room with good light to work in. Their home had beautiful light in every room. We were able to get images in the master bedroom, nursery, kitchen and living room.
It was so great to see them interacting with their new one and the love and adoration was apparent.
Well, except for the cat! I don't think he feels quite the same about the new baby, yet!
