There is nothing better then spending time with our beloved little ones on the days they have off school, but sometimes it can interfere with our schedule and certain things that need to be done.Market trips can get a whole lot harder as they tend to want and touch everything they see. This turns a 15 minute supermarket trip into a 50 minute one. The learning tree has been working on having open day cares on Saturdays from 12-6 to make time for parents to go out and and run their errands. So make sure to keep an eye out for these special dates! We also know how hectic weekday mornings can be! Trying to get the kids off to school and ourselves ready for our day. To help speed up the process and sending your kids off happily here some quick,easy and fun lunch idea tips.
Ants on a log- an oldy but goody that consists on celery filled with peanut butter with raisins on top.
Fun fruit- cut their favorite fruits into fun shapes and let them enjoy.
Chocolate Banana Crepes- all you need is some flour tortillas, a bit of peanut butter, a banana and a handful of chocolate chips to enjoy this delicious treat.
Ham rollers - slice apples into pieces then put a piece of cheddar cheese on top and wrap with ham.
Magic wands- spread peanut butter on top of pretzel stick and sprinkle with nuts or dried fruits.
Sandwich shapes - use a cookie cutter to turn an otherwise dull sandwich into fun shapes that your children will love!
