The Learning Tree preschool kicked off September with a great start to the new school year. Our back-to-school night was a wonderful way for families to get a deeper look into our curriculum, see what their children are learning and meet other families in their child’s class. It was a nice way to form a closer bond with all our families.
The Livermore Children’s Fair was a great way to get The Learning Tree out in the public as a top rated preschools in our area. We were able to meet so many families as well as other early childhood specialists like Hulafrog, Livermore Mom’s Club and Bricks 4 Kids. The Learning Tree preschool bags and water bottles were passed out at this event so be sure to look for our logo around town.
To celebrate our new school name, The Learning Tree preschool a party with the world Famous Jungle Joe’s puppet stage show, a Jump House, and Queen Elsa as a special guest. Only at The Learning Tree preschool will you see Queen Elsa pushing children on the swing! The event including bubbles and music, tile crafts to decorate our wall, magnet painting, coloring pages, tree trunk chalk boards, and face painting. Thank you to the past, present, and future families for attending this event and supporting The Learning Tree preschool. We are excited for all the new additions to our family and we can’t wait to show you all what’s in store for the new school year.
This week is our first annual trike-a-thon to help raise awareness and support for the St. Jude’s children’s research hospital. Every day this week the children will be learning a lesson in bike riding safety that includes a video and a coloring page. On Friday, we will be reviewing everything that we have learned about safety and the importance of helping others. The children will earn a “driver’s license” and a medal for participating in our trike-a-thon. Please visit stjude.org/trike or call 1-800-626-BIKE (2453) to learn how to donate to this wonderful cause.
Stayed tuned for more information on our upcoming events in October. Happy first week of Fall from everyone at The Learning Tree!
