Project: Window Film
Customer: Asylum
Location: Largo, FL.
The Asylum is an awesome, well appointed tobacco shop that called us to come up with solutions for two problems. First and foremost they needed a deterrent for "Peeping Toms" that were constantly eyeballing their attractive inventory. With their location and visible inventory, a potential smash and grab was a great concern. Second. the owner was hoping that at the same time, we could suggest how to lower his monthly "smoking" electric bills.
Two problems - One solution for both!
8mil window film was installed on their glass along with a "wet glaze" attachment system to further strengthen the performance of the film. The Asylum was now protected with a tough durable shield of protection to hold broken glass together should a vandal attempt to break in. Worries about business interruption with damages and loss of inventory were put to rest.
Our 8mil film installation also addressed the high electric bills by rejecting up to 79% of the heat coming in through their glass. Their beautiful colorful carpet would have fade protection since the film rejects up to 99% of damaging UV rays AND they qualified for TECO rebates! An unexpected check was forthcoming in the mail!
The Asylum was hoping for two solutions. We gave them that and more. The performance and benefits of the right window film should never be underestimated.
