Creating a special custom sign for your business is a process requiring lots of planning over many stages. The photo shows a recent project we completed for Emergency Pet Care of Texas. After the consultation with them, we began Phase I of the project by working on the concept drawings for the desired sign, after the final design was approved we began Phase II by constructing the main cabinet and sign panels for the custom monument sign. For Phase III of the project we began by installing the concrete foundation for the sign, we then erected a 3 foot tall base made of teak wood stone to match the existing building The 10 foot tall main cabinet is constructed of a metal frame, which was covered in sheet metal, and then finished with stucco. They chose to go with an externally illuminated sign. This external business sign is special because its convertible design allows it to be able to incorporate additional sign faces, so it can become a multi-tenant sign.
A custom designed exterior sign is useful because it’s important to match the look and construction of the new sign to the client’s existing facility. A good designer and fabricator will establish a connection between the existing structures surrounding the new signage being constructed. The point is to have all the elements blend seamlessly.
