As a company that has been around since 1907, Old Republic Title Insurance Group takes pride in their values in quality service and customer service. When finding a new location to expand their successful business even further, they were looking to partner with a sign company that shares those values. RE/MAX Elite Properties, a former client, gave a great recommendation for Monarch Sign & Graphics for the job.
Old Republic Title helps consumers, business, government agencies, and lenders alike navigate the world of insurance and mortgage lending services and products. They give individualized help for anyone looking for help in real estate transactions and insurance policies alike, taking pride in treating each individual case with care. Monarch Sign & Graphics takes the same type of pride in their detail-oriented sign design and installation, making a great partnership for a large, multiple part project for the new location in Tomball, TX.
Before getting started on any part of the new project, there was an onsite consultation. In this consultation, the specific signage needs were evaluated and a plan of execution was created by the professional, seasoned staff at Monarch Sign & Graphics. The new location was at Tomball Marketplace, a location that Monarch had already worked with. They took their past experience into consideration and rendered a sign that would meet the specifications of the property managers, work with the local ordinances on signage, and achieve the vision and needs of Old Republic Title.
For the main building, an internally illuminated set of channel letters was selected for the job. These letters were to be mounted to the raceway, which is the terminology for the box behind channel letters that holds the wires and electrical components of the sign. After the type of sign was selected, the company rendered a visual of how the letters would look on the building to give Old Republic Title a solid grasp of what the end result would look like.
The renderings were submitted to both the property managers and local city ordinances. This step ensured everything was up to code and approved, meaning there was no chance of later having fines or having to remove the sign and start over. Without this step, there could be huge fines that can cost more than the original sign and can lead to having to get a whole new sign, all at the cost of the customer.
The installation began with the sign being laid out and the mounting brackets being installed directly on the building. At this point, there must be careful measurements to ensure the end result looks the same as the approved renderings. With everything placed as it was needed, there was a crane used to lift the components into place where team members then secured those components onto the wall using the mounting brackets. After everything was set, the wiring was penetrated into the building, and the holes were then sealed weather tight.
With every project by Monarch Sign & Graphics, the team also cleans up all debris and will even paint anywhere there was damage to the wall. Their experts take the final look of a project seriously, leaving everything in better shape than found. After completing the new illuminated sign, our team got to work installing a beautiful new tenant panel, as pictured below.
