We received a call from Carl Pittman, owner of Thai Rama Restaurant in Crystal City, Missouri who was interested in a couple of wall murals for his restaurants new location. He has a wall mural at his existing location, which he ordered online and he installed with the help of a contractor, but was disappointed in the quality.
Carl was able to provide us with high quality artwork for what he wanted in the murals, as well as the dimensions for the walls where he wanted them installed. We laid out the artwork at the necessary sizes to fit the walls and provided proofs for approval. Once the layouts were approved we began production.

We selected a premium Arlon adhesive backed vinyl to use for this project and printed on our Mimaki CJV-30 large format solvent printer. Due to the size of the graphics they were printed in panels. Once everything was printed, we laminated with a gloss overlaminate for a couple of reasons. First, Carl wanted these murals to really pop when people walked into the restaurant and saw them. Secondly, we wanted the prints to have added protection and make them easy to clean without damaging the graphics.
Our installer took the graphic panels to the new location for installation. When he arrived the first task was to inspect the walls and prep for installation. With that done, he then taped the panels of the first graphic to the wall to get everything aligned and began installation. This process was repeated for the second mural.

Wall graphics and murals are a great way to add interest and a little flair to your business space. At Thai Rama, the murals allow the customers to get a little feel of Thailand as they enjoy their meal.
Carl was absolutely thrilled with the results and very impressed with not only the quality of the prints but also the installation. Ifyou want great Thai Cuisine visit Thai Rama.
