Our partners in Georgia at Alpharetta Signs had been working on a job with a Serendipity Labs location in their area to get business names and suite numbers on their office spaces. Upon competition of that job, Serendipity Labs wanted to have something very similar installed at their Frisco, Texas location. Alpharetta Signs reached out to us at Visual Dynamics Sign and Image Solutions to have some custom etched glass vinyl work done here in Texas.
Serendipity Labs is a shared space/co-working office offering full, part time and drop in co-working space in addition to private offices, workstations and team rooms. This emerging style of office space lets new or smaller businesses the chance to save on the cost for an entire rental office and gives a unique exposure to network with other businesses.
Installation process of custom etched glass vinyl at Serendipity Labs in Frisco, TX
In our discussions with Serendipity Labs in Frisco, they explained that they had a couple office suites to have the tenant’s name and suite numbers installed in etched glass vinyl. We had the graphics and selected fonts emailed to our graphics team for set up in our system. Our production team was quickly able to have the graphics cut on the etched vinyl and then went to the facility to have them installed on the glass windows. The work was so well received by Serendipity Labs that they asked Visual Dynamics Sign and Image Solutions to do the same throughout their entire building. They had all the remaining names and suite numbers sent over with a print out of the floor plan. Our production team was able to recreate the with the other suites using the etched glass vinyl by either cutting the graphics into the vinyl our out of the vinyl depending on the request of each client. Being that each office space was a different size, we had to make sure that the etched glass vinyl was appropriate for each different window size. There were a few variations, but the etched glass vinyl graphics generally ranged in size from 3×8 to 2×10, and some others were 6×8. When all etched glass vinyl window graphics were fully installed, we worked with Serendipity Labs to establish a system that allows Visual Dynamics Sign and Image Solutions to add new etched glass vinyl graphics or remove the graphics as office spaces are rented or changed. In addition to this, they were so happy with our work and service that they had us complete the same graphic work at their downtown Dallas location too.
