Restaurants tend to have lots of windows for store front. People love to gaze outside as they relax and eat. Located just north of The University of Texas at Dallas, the American Tap Room offers 24 draft beers to satisfy the taste buds of any thirsty IPA, pilsner or stout fan. Beyond beer, they serve up some amazing ‘from scratch’ meals that are all sourced from local vendors, and these aren’t your normal bar-food meals either.

During our phone conversation, they explained they were looking for full window blocking graphics and they had some great ideas of what they wanted. We came to their location to do our on-site survey, but after discussing their vision with the building management we learned that we would have to find another solution to meet their goals. It didn’t take long to agree on the alternative of cut graphics that would be bold enough to communicate their message but not create a major window obstruction.
To make this goal come to life, we used 3M vinyl along with 3M laminate and printed the graphics onto the vinyl. The vinyl and laminate were cut and weeded in house. Then we took the prepped graphics to the installation site. Once we cleaned the windows thoroughly and made sure they were all free of any debris or residue, we installed the custom window graphics directly onto the windows. The results look great and made both the American Tap Room and their building management happy with the project completed.
