Mind & Body Fitness McKinney Window Graphics
One of the most challenging tasks a business owner may face is re-branding. The owners of Mind & Body Fitness faced this exciting challenge recently. Not only did they change their name as they took over a studio in Plano, TX, they also opened a brand-new location in McKinney, TX at the same time. They reached out to our experts to help them during this transitional time.
Mind & Body Fitness is a personal training studio that is locally owned and operated. They staff certified trainers that are ready to help you become the healthiest version of yourself through whole body and lifestyle changes.
Now that they were an independently owned training studio, they selected colors and a company name that was a more accurate reflection of their mission. We visited their studio for a free, no obligation consultation and talked about their vision for their window graphics. We got their graphic images, took multiple on-site photographs and then got to work. During our design and mock up phase we noticed they had white blinds in their windows. We contacted them to ask how often they had the blinds down. No shock with our Texas sun, those blinds were down very often during the spring, summer and into fall. We explained their request for white letters would barely be visible once the blinds were down and we were able to show this in our mock up. We told them we would come up with an option or two for their review by advised the decision would ultimately be theirs. Once they saw their options, they selected our suggestion that added a thin black border to each letter. In addition, the darker words in their logo were lost when the blinds were not pulled down. We provided a mock up with 2 options for this challenge as well. They selected the option that put a white background around the entire logo. Before we could install the approved redesigned window graphics, we had to remove the pre-existing vinyl. Once that was completed, we had to ensure that no debris remained (dirt, dust, adhesive residue). This step is often overlooked but is essential to ensure the new graphics go on without any bumps nor does it begin to peel away. The new graphics were made with a 3M vinyl that had a 3M matte laminate applied over top to ensure durability and longevity of the vinyl and printed colors. They measured at 46” wide by 60” tall. The results are awesome!
Mind & Body Fitness – Plano location
We also had the pleasure of making lobby signs for them. One for the re branded Plano, TX location and one for the new location opening in McKinney, TX. Opening two locations at once is a lot of work, so we were happy to make these jobs as stress free as possible. The twin lobby signs we 72” wide by 80” tall acrylic substrates with Oracal Etched vinyl applied to the backside and laminated 3M vinyl printed and cut graphics on the front side. Using this double-sided application allowed us to create a 3D effect to the sign. These lobby signs were mounted to the wall using standoff mounts.
