Most Urgent Care clinics feel cold, sterile and lack that “fuzzy warm vibe”. Which is fine, we get it; the last place you want somebody giving you a hug is where sick people are gathering. What about a “visual hug”? A cute, friendly and touching way to send you off, give you a smile and still be functional all at the same time? Our friends at Legacy ER in East Frisco wanted to do this with a custom designed wall graphic and contacted us to make it happen.
Legacy ER provides 24-hour emergency are 365 days a year as well as urgent care everyday all in one location. With six locations on the north side of Dallas, they have been serving the community since 2008.
At this location, there was a large unused wall that lead to the patient exit door. This door already had an exit graphic installed on it, but so does every other medical office. They wanted something unique so people would remember them. They wanted to convey a heartfelt sentiment to their patients. They chose to say “…feel better…get well…wishing you a quick recovery…” then we added a simple arrow pointing toward the door. They selected an easy to read font and a gradual, gentle wave flow to the text so it would easily capture the patient’s eye. This simple and cheerful thought is just what people need after they have been in to seek medical attention for a sudden sickness or injury. To achieve the 103” wide and 30” tall curving wall graphic, we selected a 3M vinyl in white. We also used a matte laminate to reduce glare and ensure the text was easy to read. The installation was quick and easy as we installed it in one large piece. We did this to ensure that each letter was equally spaced and at the proper angle; any shift in these two features would have interrupted the flow of the graphic making it difficult to read. The result was sentimental and unique, we are sure it brings a smile to face of each person who reads it.
