Our friends at the Kids Shouldn’t Have Cancer Foundation contacted us for their Gold Party that was going to take place at the Frisco Star. This annual gala event is held to raise funds for their foundation. One of the things they needed from us were some X stand banners.
This wonderful foundation is fighting to end pediatric cancer through increasing research and political action with am emphasis on responsible spending. The foundation was created in the memory of Jonny Wade, a brave young boy who lost his life to cancer, leaving behind his parents and twin brother. It was his dream that no other child ever get cancer.

One other stand was used to block off the entrance to a set of stairs they wanted to close off. This is so much easier than a rope with a ‘do not enter’ sign hanging from it.
The most powerful and informative banner told the story of Jonny Wade. This banner was placed next to the stage where Jonny’s parents spoke to the guests and thanked them for their support. This was also the location of the live auction. Every guest in attendance would pass by this location, so it was a great location to ensure Jonny’s story was read by all.
The final banner was the most heart touching image. It shows a beautiful moment shared between Jonny and his twin brother Jacky at a park. This image was captured about 2 months before Jonny’s passing. This picture shows what a banner looks like right off the printer before it has been finished off and is ready to be put onto the X stand.
