The first lobby sign they needed was for their office in Dallas, TX. This office was going to be their main location for a few more years, but they wanted a sign that could move with them as they expanded and needed a larger location. They were also working on a new office in the Fort Worth, TX area and would need a duplicate sign there as well. This office won't be ready for a few more months, but knowing what size of sign they had was a great help to the contractors at the second location.
Our first step was to do a site survey, we always offer this as a free service as it helps us to see the whole vision of the project. We wanted to see the lobby set up, know if there were any objects that would obscure the sign or need to be moved for the installation process. We also wanted to see the decor and colors they had so we could make sure we kept with the flow and vibe of the office. We were able to discuss the size and substrate options with them at this visit as well. They loved the idea of an aluminum composite material with vinyl that matched their logo colors. We recommended the lobby sign be mounted to the wall with off sets as this would allow for the sign to be moved easily when they were ready to change locations.
The final product looks wonderful installed behind their reception desk. As there were no obstructions behind the desk, we were able to install this sign and clean up in less than 30 minutes with no disruptions to the office staff and their important jobs. We are ready and look forward to installing the second lobby sign in their Forth Worth location in the upcoming months.
