Caring for Your Magnetic Sign in Concord, CA | Signage Company Industry News

Installation:

First wash and wipe your vehicle clean, and then dry it.

Second, wax the vehicle surface in the spot where you will display the sign.

Third, touch the magnetic sign to the vehicle. If it isn’t exactly where you want it, remove it and replace it, don’t slide it. Do not apply a magnetic sign to a newly painted vehicle. Allow at least 60 days for fresh paint to cure. (Check with the paint specifics for your state.)

Loving Vinyl Wraps for Many Uses in Concord, CA

I’m wrapping my big closet doors in my sewing room, guest room and office at home. Two of the rooms are 36″ sliders – three to a closet. They’re mahogany, but they’ve seen better days. We are wrapping one to look like a full wall mural of an ancient map, and one to look like the mural of a local mountain range. . .The sewing room will be one of my favorite things; a full mural on 2 sliders of a tropical ocean wave up close. You will be able to feel the foam of the motion of the waves . . Another great thing about this is that it’s being laminated, too. That gives it longer life and more protection from things your family may do to it by accident. . .

How Do I love Thee in Concord? Maybe Not . . .

Be sure to check with your sign maker about the codes. At Signature d’Sign, Lee has all the codes for the local cities and will be happy to advise you on what and how much space you may use. After all, who wants to spend money on a sign just to have it taken down?

Foggy Night, Hanging Sign, Todos Santos Square in Concord, CA

It must be something that showed from the street, yet made you want to lean in and rest on the wall below. Something that wouldn’t fade too fast, but would stand up to the kids who insisted on jumping after it. . . . Hmm. . . Maybe a wooden sign, or perhaps aluminum? Would that be too modern? Ah, the perfect solution, a 1/2 inch MDF plywood would do the job. Cover it with a heavy vinyl and add a phone number for drop ins. . . An oval, hanging from 2 chains, and a special piece of metal to keep it from swaying when it is hit by a flying fist once in a while.
