Working off a referral, I contacted the owner of Downie’s Septic & Excavation who expressed an interest in putting vinyl lettering on several trucks in their fleet. We set up a meeting for me to come and look at the trucks and discuss the details.   Through our discussion I determined there were three trucks to letter that needed to match the others in the fleet. After measuring and taking pictures of the trucks we had back to the studio to work up some proofs for the client.   Once we had approval on the layouts we could start to schedule the trucks. Their motto is “Any Job, Anywhere.” Some of their service offerings include site work for new construction, septic system installation, repair, and cleaning; dumpster service; landscaping; commercial snow plowing.   Check out their website for more details and contact information. http://www.duncandownies.com/ After spending some time recreating the lettering from the pictures we took, we were ready to produce the graphics.   In this case we printed the lettering on high performance vinyl using our HP L26500 latex printer, applied a glossy laminate and cut them out using a Graphtec F8000 cutter.   After weeding and applying transfer tape we positioned the graphics on the doors and installed them. Additionally, we cut DOT numbers out of black vinyl and applied them to the doors as well.
