We were recently contacted by the Senior Program Director at the Valley Shore Family YMCA, Old Saybrook CT inquiring about signage for their new Functional Training Room. Specifically, they were looking for a large dedication sign above the entrance, a sponsorship sign and a large wall graphic inside the room. In addition to the need to follow the YMCA branding guidelines the Director’s desire was to have the signs look similar to the existing signage in the facility. Back in the studio, using the photos and details collected from our site visit, we created proofs showing how the signs will look once they are installed. The picture below show you the end result with the large sign mounted above the doors at the entrance of the training room. As the doors open up you immediately see the large YMCA logo.   On an adjacent wall we installed the list of donors of the project. The Valley Shore YMCA has been in existence for over 90 years. They have had a positive impact on the lives of those who live and work on the shoreline by offering programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body. Once we had the sizes and graphics agreed to we started production. For consistency with the other dedication signs in the facility we produced the two interior wall signs by using print vinyl, laminated and mounted to 3mm PVC. The wall graphic was printed on a 3M vinyl designed for wall graphics and laminated with a matte finish.
