Shipman’s Fire Equipment in Waterford, CT needed to put vehicle graphics on a new cargo van they were adding to their fleet. They called One Look and we set up an appointment with Shipman’s to survey the vehicle and discuss the graphics and lettering we needed to put on the van. Walking away from the meeting with requirements, measurements and pictures of the van we were ready to create the design layout for the van.

    

Our initial design was well received. Some minor changes and were we ready to start the installation.   The picture below shows the transformation of a plain white van into a 24/7/365 marketing tool. I will take a moment here to mention that putting your name and logo on a vehicle is still one of the most cost effective ways to advertise your business.   By putting graphics on your vehicle you turn it into a mobile billboard, helping to attract new customers to your business.

After an approved layout we started cutting vinyl in red, gray, black and white. Premium vinyl was chosen for its greater durability and longer life. Once the vinyl was cut on the Graphtec cutter plotter it was weeded out then transfer tape was applied. Then transfer tape made it easier to position the graphics on the vehicle while the installer worked the vinyl.   In addition to the sides, lettering was also applied to the rear doors of the truck, as shown in the photo below.
