I received an email recently by the Business Manager of the Norwich Orthopedic Group, located in N. Franklin, CT to discuss replacing the previous banners we made for them with updated ones highlighting their new Ortho On Demand service. Having done the original banners we were able to work back and forth in email to develop the design for the new banners. Given the banner locations the goal was not only to advertise the new service but also to ensure patients understood it was an offering by the Norwich Orthopedic group.
In the picture above you can see the finished double sided banner which we installed between the two columns at the entrance to the building. We also installed town single sided banners; one on each side of their monument sign at the driveway entrance, as you can see in the photo below.
The Norwich Orthopedic Group has been in existence for more than 50 year. They dedicated itself to providing patients with the highest quality care available in the Connecticut area. They are not only focus on the use of the most modern techniques but also the personal comfort and concerns of their patient. I have personally used their services and can attest that they provided a high level of medical care.
We constructed the double-sided banner from 18 oz. blockout vinyl banner stock with standard 1” hem with grommets approximately every 24 inches. We installed this banner on 2 wires strung between two brick columns. To help keep this banner taut on these wires we tied the ends to the eyelets that secured them to the columns. The two single-sided banners were made from 13 oz. vinyl banner stock with a 1 inch hem and grommets. This material choice was determined sufficient given the banners would be secured to the existing monument sign using a reinforced nylon cord.
In both cases the all but the days and times were printed on the banner stock. The Business Manager wanted the flexibility to change the days and times so we made that lettering from black cut vinyl. If/when the days or time for the service change they can easily peel the old ones off and put the new ones on.
