An SRS Job Review - Using Smart Tint practically

Have you ever wanted to add privacy and decoration to a space with just the click of a button, all while maintaining the ability to still see out of a window? With Smart Tint, our clients have been able to accomplish just that. Smart Tint is a film company based out of New York that specializes in making switchable electric smart films that can alternate between a clear or frosted finish with just the click of a button or the flip of a switch. Smart Tint has chosen us at Solar Reflections Services as their preferred installer of this film for the southeast region of the United States, and we recently had the chance to install their film for our clients at a corporate office here in Birmingham, Alabama. Our clients specifically wanted the ability to have privacy for their two conference rooms during meetings, but did not want a permanent frosted look on the windows. After a consultation, we determined that Smart Tint would suit their needs the best, and we began the process of acquiring the film for installation. In addition to the installation of the smart film, we also glazed all edges of the film with a non-corrosive sealant included with the smart film to prevent any moisture from intruding behind the film or around the electrical connections. We also covered all visible wires and copper plating on the top and bottom of the film with black bond-cap for a more professional finish. Once the electrician installed all electrical components, the job was completed and our clients were able to enjoy their choice of both privacy and practicallity by flipping a switch.
