If you think you’re on a transporter belt? You get up each day, you are busy, busy, fulfill commitments, meet the needs of all and do what is expected of you. Then you go to sleep and wake up in the night probably a few times, then get up and do all that again. Sounds familiar with this? While you were sleeping, when were you last calm and peaceful? The gates to rediscover our interests and desires are silence and silence. Are you present every day to make a difference with your passions and gifts?
A Local Half Day Retreat provides an opportunity for releasing, healing and creating using floating therapy. This meditation retreat is a nice and calming five and a half hour retreat that allows the body to restore itself from the wear and tear of everyday life. Instead of spending a ton of money going off somewhere far these meditation retreats are found right here in the East Bay!
Find out how unassuming, undisturbed silence can help to re-establish a healthier relationship with those around you. Such retreats lead to active focus, help you develop a wider perspective, help you learn how to speak less, listen more, challenge yourself, gain cognitive strength and a total transformation of your mind and body. The meditation retreat has eight activities that will really rejuvenate you and get you back into the headspace you need. It will first start The arrival where you will come in and register, then we will begin with an open circle, that is followed by a 90-minute float, after there is yoga with music to get you moving, then there is a guided meditation, to really focus on you and what you want and how you can rediscover your desires and passions.
After that there will be a healthy vegetarian dinner, followed by the creation of vision boards, and finally the retreat will be finished off with a closing circle. Of course if you do not feel rejuvenated enough, you can always extend the retreat experience by adding 2 additional 90-minute floats. There is no need for a health trip to Napa or Sonoma! Here in East Bay is the location of regeneration and rejuvenation! It is time to stop, be there and pause. You have to stop. Go and rediscover your passions and the needs of creation. The retreat is led by Becky Hammel and organized by Peak Performance Float, so that you can go beyond what you really need and figure out what you want.
