
As the first and only Float center for Walnut Creek, Peak Performance Float opened its doors in June 2017. They are committed by float therapy to help the community achieve its mental and physical maximum performance. They look forward to bringing this wonderful experience into East Bay with six private float rooms and float pods. The Peak Performance Float idea was inspired by a study of an ESPN Section covering the physical and mental rehabilitation section of Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors and rely on a routine of float therapy after the game. Rebecca, co-owner and husband, decided to try it, having received physical therapy and trauma many times.
The consequence was an improvement in life. When they first floated, they knew that it was such a powerful tool to heal both mentally and physically that people from all areas of life should be sharing. They’ve learned how to achieve these complex and powerful results with a simple action, following research on the science behind floating. It is not shocking that there has been an exponential growth of the float therapy industry since 2010. Her husband has owned and run a small business in California successfully for more than 30 years and gives his customers excellent customer service. He spent a lot of his life in sports. Twenty years or more she has worked in a technically complex manufacturing environment and managing, engineering and continuing my passion for wellness as an old college athlete.

Opening a floating center was the ideal way to draw on their shared business experience and at the same time to share their passion for well-being.
