Following an extensive tour and discussion of our clients’ vision for the condo, our creative wheels start turning. We begin developing a customized staging concept to accentuate the home’s midcentury charm while reflecting our clients’ coastal-chic aesthetic vision. Careful notes inform our furnishing and décor selections moving forward to complement their existing pieces. Before heading out, we capture photos of the space’s current layout to reference later during staging.
12 PM: Hunting Vintage Finds
Next up on today’s agenda? Sourcing special staging furnishings and accessories! We hit some of our favorite San Francisco vintage shops in search of charming rugs, lighting and wall art to breathe new life into our clients’ space. Part of the fun of our job is tracking down unique decorative elements and vintage furniture to transform each home. 2 PM: Furniture Rentals & Delivery Coordination
With plenty of vintage shop finds now secured in our vehicle, we shift gears to coordinate furniture rentals for the condo. Before heading to our next appointment, we confirm delivery times so pieces arrive just in time for staging day.
4 PM: Meeting Clients at Their Richmond Home
Today’s final appointment takes us across town to meet another wonderful couple looking to sell their stately Richmond District home. We tour the interior while discussing their goals for boosting buyer appeal through staging. Our clients hope to honor the historic 1920s architecture yet give the home a fresh, light look.
