To compete at the highest levels in sports or in business, we must send a message that we’re willing to take the necessary steps to battle with the best. When Summit Sports Center of Nolensville, Tennessee took that step to ask for our sign services, we, at Palladium Signs, understood that we needed to deliver with the highest quality product on the market.
As a state leader in cheerleading, gymnastics, aerial silks and soccer, Summit Sports sees the constant commotion of children and their parents. With all the coming and going, Summit Sports needed to communicate a high expectation of safety and security with a sign that could withstand the wear and tear of winter seasons, high winds and gravel parking lots--a sign that conveys strength, passion and inspiration, the pillars of a company and community that seeks to represent themselves and Nolensville throughout the state.
The Process of Sign Production for Summit
As we do for all our clients, we started the design process on the individual level by talking about the needs and expectations of their gym owner, Leslie Brady. Brady understood that she needed a sign that would last and a sign that would communicate to drivers that they needed to slow down and park respectively in the correct spots. We synthesized Brady’s big ideas with Summit’s social media platform to match their marketing color schemes and create a cohesive look that transcended the feel of the ordinary gymnastics gym. As a gym with many different areas of focus, we understood that we needed a sign that communicated excellence in all their areas and not just one specific sport. After we finalized the design and consulted with Leslie to make the final product just right, we printed off the signs, trimmed and hemmed the edges, and added grommets (the metal holes we add to hang up your signs) to the corners and sides to reinforce the strength and stability of the 8-foot mini-billboard. With grommets every two feet, Leslie would be able to place the sign securely wherever she needed to with no sag due to the weight.The Product for Summit
Once we had finished, Summit Sports added both value and marketing to their brand. Our 4x8 perforated sign added strength to withstand the winds as opposed to their older, flat sign which had ripped off the fence and blown away. Additionally, the turquoise, cobalt and slate grays complimented the purple peaks of Summit’s logo while adding a glacier-like effect to the design. The geometrical circles
and triangles in the background added a snow-like layer to the sign while doubling as a look into the stars--a symbol of the future for the lives that Summit Sports transforms through competition and sport.
Just as Summit Sports inspires young boys and girls to achieve greatness, we came away from Summit inspired to continue to create great products and services for those in the greater Nashville area and beyond.
