Having a leather "bra" on your vehicle doesn’t look great, either, and it can even scratch your paint! Plus, when you take off a leather covering from your vehicle, it can leave a mark that reveals the paint-fade contrast. That's why Palladium offers Paint Protection Film (or PPF), which is an alternative to leather paint protectors. PPF is virtually invisible, protecting vehicles from UV rays, rock chips, bug stains, and other road hazards.

What types of clear bra are available?

Clear bra covers the parts of your car that you want to protect. The result is that it maintains that beautiful sheen on your car. While you could cover your whole vehicle, this film typically goes on the front of your vehicle:

• Bumper, full hood, and the front fenders
• Bumper, plus partial hood and partial fenders
• Bumper only

We custom cut PPFs to fit each car we treat. While some exotic car owners will cover their entire vehicle through Palladium, we typically use a partial fit kit—half-hood, fender, bumper, and mirrors—intended to cover key impact areas on the front of your vehicle. Clear bra is very similar to car wrapping, but it’s even thicker than a car wrap—and it's completely clear! On top of that, this polyurethane coat is invisible and it's two or three times thicker than traditional vinyl wraps.

The process for protecting your vehicle’s paint

If you're interesting in protecting your car with Clear Bra, here's the process:

• Palladium will tell you the price options for your car.
• You, the customer, decide exactly what options you want.
• Palladium works with you to schedule a time to start.
• Palladium then preps the vehicle:
  • They clay bar the area to be protected. This removes tar (many companies do not do this). Not only does this make the existing paint look and feel perfect, it also allows the PPF to lay flat and clean on the paint.
  • They buff the paint to restore the original state of the paint job.
• Finally, Palladium lays the clear paint protective film.
